Dr. Nirmalavisweswara Rao just born for Dance. She was awarded Ph.D. (FA) from PS Telugu University, Hyderabad. She was married to Sri. K.Visweswara Rao.
She started dancing from the age of six. Since her childhood, she performed many stages locally and won awards. She received Gold Medal town wide. She has an inborn attitude towards dance and has a very good stage presence, with good expression part of Kuchipudi dance. She emerged as a professional from 1994. She has performed across all the continents of the world.
She has performed at the platforms of Ravindra Bharathi, Tyagaraya Ganasabha, Lalitha Kalathoranam, Shiparamam and all other prestigious platforms in Hyderabad. She also performed at many places in India and abroad. Some of them are at Third World Telugu Federation (Siri Fort Auditorium) and at Siliguri Utsav and other states i.e., Maharastra, Tamilnadu, Orissa, etc. Abroad performances at Poland, Turkey, Balgeria, Austria, Srilanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Mauritius, Doha Qatar, Muscat, Dubai, Bahrain and USA.
Ballets performed are Mohini Bhasmasura, Shakuntala Parinayam, Ananda Thandavam, Gajanameeyam, Sasirekha Parinayam, Sri Rama Katha Saram, Khsamaya Dharithri, Sree Ramadasu Charitra, Dasavatharam, Nava Durga Mahotsavam, Sree Krishna Vilasam, Ruthu Sobha, Bharateeya Nrithya Jhari, Lakuma Swantan, etc.
Dr. Nirmalavisveswara Rao was the recipient of many awards, some of them are Nrutya Kaumudi, Natya Siromani, Best Youth Classical Dancer, Natya Kala Vidwamani, Natya Mayuri, Kala Saraswathi, Ugadi Puraskar, Indira Priyadarshini National Award, Shankar Puraskar, Come Goers Award from Dr. Akkineni Nageswara Rao and many more.
